The Cut Above Academy, renowned for its excellence in styling, makeup artistry, and hairdressing, boasts a campus teeming with passionate artists who excel in their craft. Seeking to drive interest for the next year's intake, Up Education entrusted 4AM with the task of developing an enrolment campaign that resonated with a creatively savvy audience while remaining authentic and inspiring.

At the centre of this campaign was the influential concept of student empowerment, driving 4AM to prioritise placing students in the spotlight. By showcasing the remarkable abilities of the academy's students, the campaign not only garnered buy-in and social seeding from the current student body but also inspired prospective students with the possibility of personal transformation.

The campaign centred around the theme of personal transformation, offering students and student models the chance to showcase their work through high-level fashion photography, capturing striking 'before' and 'after' images for each discipline taught at the academy. The resulting visuals were impactful and captivating, conveying the essence of transformation and evoking a sense of pride among students.

Utilising advertising materials across billboards, buses, digital displays, and social media platforms, the campaign made waves upon its launch. Leveraging keywords such as "personal transformation," "student empowerment," and "high-level fashion photography," the campaign resonated deeply with the target audience, sparking engagement and conversation.

The animated 30-second video, in particular, became the most viewed video on TikTok in New Zealand for the day, further amplifying the academy's message of empowerment and transformation.
